“It is not wisdom but authority that makes a law”

Louis D. Brandeis

Juan C. Paz-Rosario is a family law attorney who provides thoughtful, attentive counsel to clients navigating divorce, custody, support, and related matters that profoundly affect family life. He approaches his work with a focus on understanding each client’s unique needs and helping them make informed decisions.

Juan earned his Juris Doctor from Duquesne University School of Law, where he served as President of the Hispanic American Bar Association and Past Chair of ACBA Hispanic Attorneys committee. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, with minors in Legal Studies and Criminology, from George Mason University. Juan is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and has been recognized for his professional accomplishments, including selection to the Pittsburgh Business Times 30 Under 30 list, Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch and Super Lawyers “Rising Stars.”

Before joining Liberty Mark Law, Juan represented clients in custody, divorce, and support matters across Pennsylvania, blending litigation experience with a client-centered approach. His background includes courtroom work, legal research, and a commitment to clear communication—all of which serve clients well during challenging transitions.

At Liberty Mark Law, Juan works closely with the family law practice team to support clients through legal processes with dignity and strategic guidance. He believes that strong legal counsel starts with listening first and building trust so clients feel understood and supported throughout their matters.

Outside of his legal practice, Juan lives in Pittsburgh with his wife, Danielle, and their three dogs, Baxter, Maverick, and Charlie. He enjoys rowing on Pittsburgh’s rivers, scuba diving, and exploring the region’s outdoor offerings with family and friends.
