“It is not wisdom but authority that makes a law”
Louis D. Brandeis
Liberty J. Weyandt guides individuals and families through some of the most consequential transitions of their lives with a practice grounded in experience, judgment, and a deep respect for the people behind the legal issues.
Liberty focuses her practice on family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and complex financial issues arising from the dissolution of long-term marriages. She is particularly known for her work in collaborative divorce and negotiated resolutions, helping clients move through difficult transitions with structure, transparency, and intention whenever possible.
Liberty earned her Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Over the course of her career, she has built a reputation as a thoughtful, strategic advocate who understands both the legal and human dimensions of family law. Clients often seek her out not just for technical skill, but for her ability to help them make decisions they can stand behind—financially, emotionally, and practically—long after a case is resolved.
She is trained in collaborative law and frequently works alongside financial professionals, mental health specialists, and other advisors to support durable outcomes for families. While Liberty values collaboration, she is equally clear-eyed about when firm advocacy is required and has 25 years of courtroom experience. Her approach is measured, prepared, and rooted in protecting her clients’ long-term interests.
At Liberty Mark Law, Liberty leads the firm’s family law practice and works closely with Mark when family matters intersect with business ownership, succession, or complex assets. This coordinated perspective allows clients to receive guidance that reflects the full reality of their lives, not just one piece of it.
Liberty lives in Hampton Township with her husband, Doug, their Scottie dog, Paisley, and their family. She remains actively involved in her community, including long-standing support of children and youth ministries through her church. Outside of her practice, Liberty enjoys theater and cultural events, tap class, and traveling with friends and family. Her daughter, Carley, attends Indiana University in Bloomington.
